Albert Hofmann
From The Maze Where Realities Converge
Albert Hofmann invented LSD-25 on Bicycle Day in 1943. He died on April 29th 2008 aged 102 (tenty-two). He wrote an excellent book: LSD: My Problem Child which you can read by following that link there. It's a good thing that LSD was discovered by such a psychedelic genius - when you consider it could have been discovered by some deadeyed testtubejockey.
His mates include the late Aldous Huxley (dead people are always late).
