Here are some books -
- The Kama Sutra by Vatsyayana.
- The Multi-Orgasmic Man by Mantak Chia. Techniques for men and women to spread sexual sensation around the body and prolong orgasms. And they really work.
- The Perfumed Garden of Sensual Delight by the Sheikh Nefzaoui, translated by Sir Richard Burton. A 15th century Arabian sex manual.
- The Ananga Ranga, translated by Sir Richard Burton. An 16th century Indian sex manual.
- The Karezza Method by Alice Bunker Stockham. A simple and effective technique for delaying orgasm indefinitely.
- Ovid's Ars Amatoria
- Hua Ha Ching. Lao Tzu discourses on the universe and fucking.
- Liber A'ASh vel Capriconi Pneumatici (that probably means 'the book of the inflatable goat'), On Sexual Freedom, Eroto-comatose Lucidity and Energized Enthusiasm by Aleister Crowley.
That last one - Energized Enthusiasm - explores an interesting topic: the link betwixt sexual mojo and the creative imagination. Throughout history, it seems that the people with the greatest creative output have been those with the most turbulent sex lives. Consider the myth of the muse: a new awakening in the sex life leads to a new creative output.
Now, if that convinced you that sex is related to creativity, you're very gullible. Mythology and hearsay is terrible evidence. But try drawing sexual sensation up from the genitals towards the brain (The Multi-Orgasmic Man, above, gives some methods). You may find that success in this practise results in an temporary state of highly increased creativity.
Sex, Creativity and Tarot
The Art card from Aleister Crowley's Tarot deck. This card corresponds to the path of Samekh in Qabalah. Samekh passes from Yesod to Tifaret, that is, from the genitals to the heart. I reckon that this card hints at what I've said above; draw sexual sensation up the spine from the genitals and you increase artistic output. The fluids from the wand and the cup commingle at the cauldron; this is surely symbolic of fucking. The lightning bolts formed by this act (which I think represent the physical sensation of sexual stimulation) then pass upward and become rainbows - this could be symbolic of the sublimation from sexual energy to artistic energy as it is drawn higher up the spine.
Crowley has written here, "Sex is, directly or indirectly, the most powerful weapon in the armoury of the Magician; and precisely because there is no moral guide, it is indescribably dangerous. I have given a great many hints, especially in Magick, and The Book of Thoth [which describes the Tarot cards] — some of the cards [such as the Art card, maybe?] are almost blatantly revealing; so I have been rapped rather severely over the knuckles for giving children matches for playthings. My excuse has been that they have already got the matches, that my explanations have been directed to add conscious precautions to the existing automatic safeguards."
Crowley's writings repeatedly refer to a secret technique, "the secret of secrets", given to initiates of the 9th degree of the Ordo Templi Orientis, which he says will confer upon its users the power to transform the world. Now, according to Wikipedia, the 9th degree involves instruxion in heterosexual sexmagickal techniques. I'd theorize that the "secret of secrets" is a particular technique for transmuting sexual sensation into vigour and creativity.
