Optical illusions
From The Maze Where Realities Converge - the psychedelic encyclopedia of reality from The Ultimate Comment
Optical illusions are as much a part of the ultimate comment as people transporting ladders by means of bicycle. Optical illusions are broadly "optical phenomena that result in false or deceptive visual impressions". A distinction must be made between hallucinating and an optical illusion. Optical illusions are images or objects which give false visual interpretations when the perceiver isn't under the influence of psychedelics. Looking at an optical illusion whilst under the influence of psychedelics is also fun, whether hallucinations are enhanced by an optical illusion is debatable. Optical illusions are highly hallucinotastic and insane.Optical illusions can be made and have been made by artists and scientists for hundreds of years, and these man-made optical illusions work by taking advantage of the limits of the human eye. Your eyes and brain are constantly placing three-dimensional interpretations on two-dimensional objects. Usually the interpretation is correct. Sometimes, there are options and the brain picks the wrong one. Often, there are several forces at workâand sometimes even the scientists don't know what is happening.
