Mas Oyama: legend.
Mas Oyama was the founder of kyokushin style karate. He spent all day training in martial arts, then fought bulls bare-handed in his spare time. He is the only person ever to have fought - and won - three-hundred karate bouts back-to-back, all against black belts.

He was seen as the living embodiment of the ideal of Tamashii; the indomitable spirit of self-discipline and persistence.

There is a story that he once accidentally killed a man in a fight. Multiple eyewitnesses swore in court that the man had been threatening him with a knife and Oyama only hit him once, in self-defence, so he was found innocent. However, his sense of guilt caused him to immediately renounce martial arts and start working on the farm of the man's widow, until she forgave him and assured him she could get by on her own, whereupon he went back to training. Are you that noble?
