An insane sandwich is a experimental foodtype. It is a sandwich where you add a topping to what remains of the sandwich after every bite. This is obviously easier if it's an open-top sandwich. The original concept started out as a tasting of peanut butter and quickly degenerated from there. The order went:

Peanut butter, accidental pepper, salt, honey, jam, pastrami, ham, cheese, gherkins, sugar.

It did not work at all. But the concept was invented and needs to be documented. If the right ingredients are around, the insane sandwich gives new culinary combinations which would otherwise remain untried a chance to see the light of day. If you are hungry, try it!
